Backstay Adjusters

Made of polished stainless steel and chromed bronze, Harken stay tensioners have bronze worm gears and thread drives to prevent galling under load.   The moving components are mounted on greased roller bearings for easy adjustment.

There are four sizes of stay adjuster for boats from 27 to 50 feet, with backstays from 7/32" to 1/2".  The two smaller adjusters feature handles which fold down and up to store along the body of the tensioner.  The larger handles use standard winch handles for adjustment.
