XP Piston Style

The "XP" style end fitting has become the standard of the industry.  Its end is wider and stronger than the "EL".    This fitting was designed for offshore use and is used on spinnaker poles and whisker poles from 2" to 4 1/2" in diameter.  The replaceable stainless steel piston and spring are retracted with a lanyard and ride in an open slot in the housing which allows for easy flushing and cleaning.
